DASH Dogs And Second Homes's Adoption Policy
DASH Dogs And Second Homes is a foster-based rescue located in Northwest Indiana. We work directly with Gary Animal Control to help dogs find safety and a second chance. Some of our dogs are already in foster care, where they are learning routines, getting socialized, and waiting for their forever homes. Others are still at Gary Animal Control, hoping for either a foster home or an adoptive family. We list these dogs through DASH so they have the best chance at placement. All adopters are required to complete an application, provide references, and participate in a meet-and-greet to ensure the right match for both the dog and the family. Our mission is to give every dog a safe path from animal control to home — whether that starts in foster care or directly from animal control.
