Addie was returned to Pet Friends recently after her owner moved out of the country for work and was unable to take her with him. She originally came to the shelter in December 2023 after she and another dog were picked up as strays by animal control but only stayed with us for a couple months before being adopted. We believe Addie is a full-bred or partial American Staffordshire Terrier. Addie quickly charmed everyone at the kennel with her looks and personality when she first arrived and she hasn't changed one bit during her time in a home. Its kind of hard not to smile and think "baby hippo" when you look at her, and she is as sweet and loveable as any dog you will ever meet. Addie craves attention from anyone she meets and will happily sit for as long as you want to give her lovins. She knows some basic commands and walks very well on a leash. So far, Addie has not been reactive to any of the other dogs in the shelter, but her prior owner said she could be a little choosy about hanging out with other canine companions.
