Addie (N25-05)'s Story
Hi, I'm Addie! I'm an 8-year-old Border Collie weighing 41 lbs. I walk nicely on a leash and LOVE to play ball-it's my absolute favorite thing in the world! With a tennis ball in play, nothing else matters. I'd do best in a home that enjoys playing ball with me from time to time and keeping me mentally engaged.

I prefer to be the one and only dog, as I like having my people and space to myself, and I'm happiest when I don't have to share the spotlight. That said, give me a tennis ball and I'm completely in my element.

I have a gorgeous smile, love belly rubs, and enjoy snuggling just as much as playtime. I'm looking for a home where I can relax, be adored, and still use my smart Border Collie brain and instincts. (The herding ball is a close second favorite toy!)

A meet and greet at the shelter is required to make sure I'm a great match for my future family.
------
Before being rescued, many of our dogs had limited socialization, so they may need some time to adjust to life as a family pet. Older kids are often a great fit for our dogs, and homes with younger children will be considered based on each dog's individual needs. Skills like house training and leash walking may take a little extra patience and practice. However, with understanding and a gentle hand, most of these dogs adapt quite quickly. Being a part of their rehabilitation is a truly rewarding experience. To learn more about mill dogs and start the adoption process, visit our website!
