Ada

**WE ARE ALWAYS IN NEED OF FOSTER HOMES** Homeward Bound Dog Rescue is an all volunteer rescue organization and all our dogs and puppies are in foster homes - we are not a shelter and do NOT have a facility where we house our dogs. For adoption information go to: www.homewardbounddogrescue.com. You must fill out an application online as we do NOT accept applications at our clinics.

Ada is a 6 month old hound mix and weighs about 23lbs. Ada was brought to a shelter with some of her siblings from an unwanted litter. From there she made her way to Homeward Bound Dog Rescue and into a foster home. Ada is much smaller in person than she looks in pictures. She seems to be potty trained and is smart and silly. Although she is nervous in some new situations she is working hard on building her confidence. Ada bonds quickly to new people and enjoys cuddling with them on the couch. Although she enjoys cuddling she is not a couch potato. She also enjoys racing around the back yard and with her little legs she's surprisingly fast!

Our adoption clinics are held one Saturday a month at our facility in Schenectady on John Street, located directly behind Boulevard Bowl (Erie Boulevard) from 10 am to 12 pm (directions are on our website). We require an approved application before we consider anyone for an adoption - so filling out the application is your first step. Once your application has been reviewed, you will receive an email invitation to attend an adoption event. Different dogs and puppies go up for adoption EVERY WEEK so please feel free to visit the site and click on the Petfinder link for updates as we are adopting dogs out in between adoption events. Puppies and dogs up to 2 years old are $395. Dogs over 2 years old are $295. 100% of the adoption fees go to help us save more dogs.
