Achilles's Story
Meet Achilles! Achilles AKA Spike is a NYC boy! This handsome man was originally picked up as a stray in the city and brought to ACC. He spent a couple months there before being adopted. Unfortunately, Achilles somehow managed to find himself running around the Binghamton area and was brought to us. We love Achilles but we will be honest…he’s not always the brightest bulb. Achilles has a big head and not a lot of thought. He is food motivated and housetrained so at least there’s that! Achilles could use some work on his leash manners but we are sure he’ll get there with a dedicated owner. We aren’t entirely sure how he’d be in a home with another dog and think he may prefer females. Since he’s still pretty new to us we are learning more about him everyday. If you’re interested in adding Achilles to your family please fill out an adoption questionnaire:

https://www.gobroomecounty.com/shelter/dog_shelter_adoption_questionnaire.
We encourage you to reach out if you don’t hear back or if you have further questions Phone:607-778-2493 Email:muttsrus@BroomeCountyny.gov
