Ace's Story

Ace is a pup with a huge heart, a goofy personality, and an impressive love for food, toys, and fun. He's a happy boy through and through--always ready to make you laugh with his silly antics or flash his adorable spotted belly during snuggle time.

Ace thrives with routine and really enjoys knowing what comes next in his day, which helps him settle in and be his best self. Fetch is his all-time favorite game (tennis balls are gold!), and he also loves a good game of tug--he's strong and enthusiastic when it's playtime. Toys don't usually stand a chance, as he's a proud toy destroyer who takes his job seriously. When the fun winds down, Ace is more than happy to snuggle up close and relax with his people.

He is house trained, crate trained, sleeps soundly through the night, and knows his basic commands. Ace is extremely food-motivated, making him a quick learner who truly wants to please. Whether he's keeping you company while you garden, joining you for daily routines, or cuddling on the couch, Ace makes a wonderful, loyal companion.

This goofy, affectionate boy has been patiently waiting for his forever fetching buddy--and he's ready to bring consistency, joy, and lots of love into the right home. 🐾🎾Big Paws of the Ozarks is a foster-based dog rescue in Northwest Arkansas. We require an approved adoption application on file before scheduling meets with our dogs. You can find the application here (www.bigpawsozarks.org/adoption-application). All adopters must fill out an application on our website with all necessary information. From there, our staff will conduct a phone interview and answer any questions regarding the dog or the adoption process. Once approved, a meet and greet is scheduled with the family, dog, and dog's foster family. This is the time where other pets can be introduced. If the meet and greet goes well, we can send the dog in a trial adoption for a few days to make sure it is a perfect fit for everyone. From there the adoption is finalized through payment of the adoption fee and transferring of vet records.
