Meet Acadia! <br/><br/>This handsome boy is looking for a home where he can enjoy the rest of his life. At 8 years old he still has so much life left, but he’s also slowing down just a bit. Acadia unfortunately found his way to us after his owner added a new cat, knowing that Acadia was not cat compatible. We are so sad for him, but we know that he has a future with someone who will love him like he deserves. He is a goofy guy and a typical husky. He can be aloof, but also has no problem requesting attention when he wants it. He loves to bounce around with you in excitement when he comes out of his crate in the morning, sometimes doing a little happy howl too. <br/><br/>Acadia has done well with female dogs, and does get along with more laid back, males. He also is content being solo. Acadia loves to explore, go on walks, and just enjoy your company. Thankfully he has not been one to be an escape artist, and has respected his foster home's fencing (both chainlink and privacy fence). He is potty trained, fully vetted, and ready to go home. His adoption fee has been sponsored.
