Acadia's Story

Acadia is a six-month-old Lab mix with one of the sweetest personalities you'll ever meet. At around 40 pounds, she's close to her full size and isn't expected to get much bigger. She is the perfect medium-sized companion. Acadia has a beautiful black-and-white coat that is accented with unique brindle patterns on her legs.

This happy girl is equal parts playful adventurer and professional snuggler. Acadia's favorite activities include blocking a kick during backyard soccer games, splashing around in the puppy pool, and wrestling with her dog friends. When the fun winds down, her favorite place to be is curled up on the couch or snuggled in bed right next to her people.

Because she's still a puppy, Acadia has a good amount of energy and would love an active home that will keep her busy with walks, playtime, and new adventures. More than anything, she wants a family who will include her in their lives. She is the kind of dog who wants to be right by your side wherever you go.

Acadia is very social and loves other dogs, and she does well with cats too. She's already learning her manners and currently knows sit, paw, and come. She's incredibly smart, eager to please, and very treat-motivated, which makes training fun and rewarding for everyone involved.

Acadia loves meeting other dogs and people, and sometimes her excitement gets the best of her in busy public spaces. She just wants to say hello to everyone! Because of that, her future adopter should be ready to continue working on her training and socialization so she can grow into the best dog she can be.

If you're looking for a loyal adventure buddy who will happily join you on hikes, play in the yard, and then cuddle up on the couch afterward, Acadia might be your perfect match. She's ready to find a forever home where she'll be loved, included, and never far from her favorite people.
