AC Rocky I ( Husky Mix )'s Story
Rocky's wish is for a home that will give him lots of attention and take him places. It seems like
he didn't have many experiences in his previous life. When he came to us he didn't know what a
car ride was and was worried we would shut him in the car and leave him. Now he chills out in
the car either curled up on the front seat or lying down in the back enjoying the ride. He goes to
Fremont Lakes and for long walks in the woods and he is in heaven. He looks like he's half wolf
and half coyote...but really he is a husky/shepard mix and his hair coat has all the
colors...black, tan, silver, white and even some reddish tints...and is VERY soft. His right eye is
part gray and part brown which gives him the wild look. He loves to bond with a person and is a
loyal sidekick. He is friendly, very affectionate and gives sincere kisses. He is also very attentive
on walks and is always coming back to check in on you to see if you're still coming and if
everything is ok. He is somewhat vocal and can mimic “ I loooove you “ when prompted if he
feels like it. He gets very excited in his kennel and can be a little jumpy at first because he's
soooo glad you are taking him...but after a couple minutes of walking on a long lead and
reminding him to behave, he settles in for a walking adventure...It's just that caged up
syndrome. He is working on “heel” and “wait”. He's good with people and seems to be OK with
other dogs outside of the shelter. You will fall in love with his charm. He is 3.5yrs old
