Aby Weimaraner St. Louis, MO

Aby is a 5 year old female Weim who was rescued from Mexico where she was starved and abused as part of a breeding operation. She has many scars and has no front teeth and the rest were ground down so she couldn't defend herself from humans and male dogs. She is a sweet soul that is looking for a loving mature family or single person home that will protect her from the things that still scare her as a result of her former life. She has completed 4 weeks of board and train and is so excited going for walks and loves human interaction, hugs and cuddles. She did have issues with other dogs, but that is now very manageable with proper introductions thanks to her training. Sometimes, in public, she is afraid of certain people’s clothing, hats, or people carrying things but she is working on overcoming these fears. Her trainer has offered virtual or in person sessions to be included with her adoption. It's time for Aby to find her own forever home. Aby is quite a happy girl now and so much healthier – her eyes and coat simply glow! She is ready for the best start in her new home!!
