Abigail's Story
Abigail is a sweet, shy girl who absolutely loves affection and to play. She was rescued from living on a heavy chain outdoors with no access to food, water or shelter. Abigail and 30 other dogs were removed from this property by law enforcement and their previous owner was charged with animal cruelty and dog fighting.<br/>Abby will need a patient adopter who understands that she hasn't ever been inside of a home before and will need to learn basic living skills like potty training. She will most likely need to eat soft foods for the remainder of her life because she's missing half of her lower lip and part of her tongue and has a tough time keeping kibble in her mouth. Because of the emotional and physical trauma that she's endured we would prefer she be the only pet in the home.
