Mitchell County Animal Rescue's Adoption Policy
Adoption fee: Puppies (1 year and under)- $200 Dogs (1 year and older)- $100 Kittens-$50 and 2 for $75 Cats-$30 Our adoption fee includes the following: Being Spayed/Neutered Wormed Flea Pill Current on vaccinations (Rabies shot, Feline Distemper/Dog Distemper, and Bordetella) Microchip Sample Bag of food Collar and leash Our adoption fee varies in prices. We have specials that run during the busy seasons (May-September). If you would like more information on adoption prices, please just give us a call at 828-765-6952.   We do adopt out of state as long as the adopter figures out transportation.   The Mitchell County Animal Rescue, Inc. is located at 2492 Hwy 19E between Spruce Pine and Penland Road. We are in the Spruce Pine area in Western North Carolina in the Blue Ridge Mountains. Spruce Pine is about 20 minutes from I-40 at the Marion, NC exit.
