Abe's Story

*Abe's adoption fee has been sponsored thanks to a generous donor*

Hello! I'm Abe!

I have a question...has anyone ever told you that I look a little like a giraffe? I mean, have you seen these legs?! They just keep going! The good news is they aren't just for looks--I can really put them to work when it's time to play chase with my dog friends.

I'm a fully grown 75-pound guy who absolutely loves hanging out with other dogs. You'll find me having the time of my life at daycare, exploring the dog trails, or convincing my buddies that one more lap around the yard is a great idea.

When playtime is over, I'm actually pretty easy to entertain. Give me a good chew toy, and I'll happily flop down and work on it for a long time. Squeaky toys? Yes, please. The squeakier, the better.

I'm still figuring out this whole crate thing. It's not my favorite place yet, and I need a little time to settle in, but I'm getting better with practice. I'm also polishing up my leash manners. I know I'm not supposed to pull...but if a rabbit suddenly appears, can you really blame me for getting excited?

If I could make one wish, it would be for a home with another playful dog. I love having a canine buddy to wrestle, chase, and learn from. Having a dog sibling would make my world complete.

So if you've been looking for a goofy, long-legged best friend with a playful spirit, a sweet heart, and just enough giraffe energy to keep life interesting...I think we should meet!
--------------------------------------------
All our Warrior Dogs will have all age appropriate medical care and vaccines, a microchip, and spayed/neutered if the dog is over 6 months of age at the time of adoption.

Please note that the majority of our dogs in rescue are from shelters where they have been found as strays or abandoned. Their breed description is based on our very best educated guess based on physical characteristics and their dispositions. If they came to our rescue as an owner surrender, the breed description will be listed as provided by the previous owner.

Adoption Fee - $0

To apply for this pup, please submit an Adoption Application at http://warriordogrescue.com/adopt/adoption-application/
