Abby - Courtesy Listing's Story

Abby is a 7 month old Black Lab and has been in the same home since she was 6 weeks old. Abby was abandoned by a family member who has not returned for her. This wonderful dog has grown to be a great addition to her current home. Unfortunately, the family member she was left with, has not been financially stable enough to properly care for Abby, and therefore, is unvetted at this time.

Abby is a very intelligent dog and has been very responsive to training. She is housebroken and does a number of tricks ( for treats of course). She gets along well with other dogs but has not been tested with cats. She is very friendly and affectionate and loves children.

Abby loves to go for walks but sometimes gets a little overexcited to be outside and will pull. She would need someone to work on this with her. Abby is also known to chew and bark if she does not get enough playtime and exercise. She has never been destructive to furniture but, like most puppies, has had a love of shoes and children's toys left laying around. This behavior decreases if she has her own chew toys. Abby loves bath time and has not ever minded a nail trimming.

It is very important that Abby finds a proper forever home. One that suits both her and your family. More information to share about Abby to interested parties.
