Abby's Story

Abby's story is one of quiet strength and second chances. This 4-5-year-old sweetheart came to us after being found as a stray - scarred, overbred, and heartworm positive. Her finders saw something special in her gentle eyes and offered to foster her, giving her a safe place to begin healing.

At first, Abby can be shy and cautious, but once she feels safe, her playful, affectionate side shines through. She adores the company of other dogs and truly blossoms when she has a canine friend by her side - so a home with another pup is a must. Abby is also great with older kids who understand her need for patience and space.

Now spayed, heartworm-free, and ready for the good life, Abby is looking for a family who will show her what unconditional love feels like. After everything she's been through, she deserves nothing less.
