Then she demonstrated her dancing and athletic abilities. She’s a lovely ballerina, twirling around on her hind legs, and a super high-jumper to peer at what’s on the kitchen counter and to leap over exercise pens and barriers.

Food is a very important thing in Abby’s life, and sometimes there are telltale paw prints on the kitchen table in the foster home. There was even an incident of a salami sandwich going missing from the table.

When Abby’s not busy looking for fallen food, she’s happy to sleep in her dog bed under her blanket, or snuggle with her human. She loves to get out all of her toys and to play fetch, but she expects the human to do most of the retrieving.

Having lived a somewhat secluded life in the past with her pet parent, Abby lacks proper socialization with other animals. She needs to be the only dog in her forever home, and no cats please. A condo/apartment would be unsuitable for Abby due to her reactivity to other dogs. A forever home with a securely fenced backyard is a must.

Abby is pee-pad trained, and her house-training outside is going quite well too. She has learned to go to the door when she needs to go out.

Abby has had a wellness check at the vet, she is microchipped, up to date on vaccinations and she is recovering nicely from her spay.

If you are interested in adopting Abby and you fit all of this description of her ideal forever home, please fill out an adoption application. You can also purchase a sweater and/or blanket for her or any of our foster dogs. Please consider becoming a CCRT Sponsorship Angel for any of our foster dogs by making a cash donation towards their care.
