1. Phone conversation - get to know lifestyle - what they are looking for, etc 2. Application is sent 3. Google to ensure property is as they say (fenced in yard, etc) 4. Check the no adopt list 5. Meet with them and the dog as well as any members of household and other pets 6. Home visit with the dog in their environment 7. All goes well - finalize the adoption and sign the agreement
