A510718's Story
A510718 Approximately one year old spayed female This female dog was admitted to the shelter as a stray with a severe flea infestation, resulting in skin irritation at the base of her tail. To address this issue, we administered flea prevention medication for the month and provided an antibiotic injection. Her coat is now regrowing. This petite pit mix has also been gaining weight during her stay. While in our care, she has been socialized to play with toys, fed three meals daily to facilitate weight gain, and received a dewormer, distemper-parvo vaccine, bordetella vaccine, rabies vaccine, and microchip. She has also been spayed. Our adoption hours are Monday through Friday from 11:00 AM to 3:30 PM and Saturday from 8:00 AM to 11:30 AM. If you have another dog or children at home, a meet-and-greet is mandatory. Additionally, if you rent your home, please verify with your leasing office that dogs are permitted and confirm any breed or weight restrictions, as many properties have recently revised their pet policies.
