26Summit's Story

Summit

16 lbs

Chi mix

Neutered Male

1 year old

Dogs; Yes

Crate trained: Yes

House trained: Yes

Summit is smart and sweet little guy. It’s estimated that he’s a little over a year old, crate trained and weighs 14 pounds. He’d really enjoy a playmate as his wonderful personality comes out when he plays. He warmed up to me in literally just a couple of hours. He listens and is learning basic commands. He’s a smart boy and catches on quickly. I don’t know how he would react to a cat, as we still haven’t encountered any. He sleeps on the bed with me. He loves to cuddle on your lap. He is crate trained. He’s house trained but must be taken out, as he doesn’t tell me yet. I usually take him out every hour. If you leave for a few hours he’s fine in his crate. I free feed my dogs. There have been no issues. He eats dry blue buffalo dog food. He’s still a puppy and loves to play and chew. I have lots of toys including chew toys. He loves Yak bones for chewing!

He’s a wonderful little guy looking for his furever home.

If interested, we recommend submitting an adoption application at: www.foothilldogrescue.org

This dog will be available at Saturday’s adoption event at our rescue.
