He was found as a stray and brought to us. He has a very soft, loving temperament but also very timid and scared of new things. We are working on leash training but he just wants to do the low crawl method so we carry him out to our play yard. He will do best as a homebody dog in a quiet, calm home. Just wants to be loved on, good with children & other dogs.<br/><br/>DOG ADOPTION FEE is $100. This Adoption fee includes: mandatory spay/neuter which will be done before you can take your dog or puppy home with you; basic canine immunizations (DHPP-CPV & Bordatella Intranasal); de-wormings; one-year rabies vaccination if old enough; heartworm test if over five months old; microchip from 24-Pet Watch; certificate for free health examination at your participating veterinarian; and a goodie bag chocked full of information, toys, and more. (If a dog is sponsored or has a waived or lower fee, that info will be provided at the point of adoption to the approved adopter).<br/><br/>The first step is to our Adoption Application here: https://elmorehumane.org/adoption-application-online-form2.html . Our adoption fees are $100 for dogs & $50 for cats under one-year-old; cats over one-year-old can be adopted by approved adopters for a fee of their choosing. This adoption fee completely covers the mandatory spay or neuter, basic immunizations, de-worming, microchip, heartworm check for dogs, rabies vaccination if old enough, free health exam with your participating veterinarian. We do have an Application & Appointment process to help make sure our pet is a good fit for you and you for our pet. The link below will take you to our Adoption Application. Once your application is approved we will contact you to set up an appointment to meet & adopt the pet. This process works much better for you, for our staff and for our pets as we can focus on you during your appointment.
