Please make sure to read the narrative below our pet's photos as you will find a description of our pet with all we know about them, our adoption fee info, and you will find the link to do our online Adoption Application which is the first step in our Adoption Process!

Please read ALL below where you will find answers about the pet, our adoption fees and how to do our adoption application!

Pet Description: Pumpkin is a male Shep type mix, 9 1/2-months-old as of early Jan '26 only about 44 lbs lbs. He was found as a stray and brought to us. He has a very soft, loving temperament but also very timid and scared of new things. We are working on leash training but he just wants to do the low crawl method so we carry him out to our play yard. He will do best as a homebody dog in a quiet, calm home. Just wants to be loved on, good with children & other dogs.

DOG ADOPTION FEE is $100. This Adoption fee includes: mandatory spay/neuter which will be done before you can take your dog or puppy home with you; basic canine immunizations (DHPP-CPV & Bordatella Intranasal); de-wormings; one-year rabies vaccination if old enough; heartworm test if over five months old; microchip from 24-Pet Watch; certificate for free health examination at your participating veterinarian; and a goodie bag chocked full of information, toys, and more. (If a dog is sponsored or has a waived or lower fee, that info will be provided at the point of adoption to the approved adopter).

The first step is to our Adoption Application here: https://elmorehumane.org/adoption-application-online-form2.html .
