Pet Description: Duce is a fourteen-month-old (as of early Dec) male Lab/Dachshund looking mix, 27 lbs. He showed up as a stray and even though their dogs wanted to eat him, he wanted to play. He is great with female dogs, lots of fun, loves attention, cute little dude. DOG ADOPTION FEE is $100. This Adoption fee includes: mandatory spay/neuter which will be done before you can take your dog or puppy home with you; basic canine immunizations (DHPP-CPV & Bordatella Intranasal); de-wormings; one-year rabies vaccination if old enough; heartworm test if over five months old; microchip from 24-Pet Watch; certificate for free health examination at your participating veterinarian; and a goodie bag chocked full of information, toys, and more. (If a dog is sponsored or has a waived or lower fee, that info will be provided at the point of adoption to the approved adopter). Our adoption fees are $100 for dogs & $50 for cats under one-year-old; cats over one-year-old can be adopted by approved adopters for a fee of their choosing. This adoption fee completely covers the mandatory spay or neuter, basic immunizations, de-worming, microchip, heartworm check for dogs, rabies vaccination if old enough, free health exam with your participating veterinarian. We do have an Application & Appointment process to help make sure our pet is a good fit for you and you for our pet. The link below will take you to our Adoption Application. Once your application is approved we will contact you to set up an appointment to meet & adopt the pet. This process works much better for you, for our staff and for our pets as we can focus on you during your appointment. For those wanting to surrender a pet we also ask that you call to set up an appointment.
