Pet Description: Kevin is a Lab mix pup found dumped and has been in foster care with his siblings. Kevin is almost five-months-old as of mid Oct, should be in the 65-70 lb range when fully grown. Lots of energy with this pup and will need plenty of room to run. Another dog to romp with might be good or he may try climbing or digging to get out and find something to do. Kevin likes being outside but is also very loveable and seeks out attention. DOG ADOPTION FEE is $100. This Adoption fee includes: mandatory spay/neuter which will be done before you can take your dog or puppy home with you; basic canine immunizations (DHPP-CPV & Bordatella Intranasal); de-wormings; one-year rabies vaccination if old enough; heartworm test if over five months old; microchip from 24-Pet Watch; certificate for free health examination at your participating veterinarian; and a goodie bag chocked full of information, toys, and more. (If a dog is sponsored or has a waived or lower fee, that info will be provided at the point of adoption to the approved adopter). Humane Society of Elmore County's Adoption Policy

Our adoption fees are $100 for dogs & $50 for cats under one-year-old; cats over one-year-old can be adopted by approved adopters for a fee of their choosing. This adoption fee completely covers the mandatory spay or neuter, basic immunizations, de-worming, microchip, heartworm check for dogs, rabies vaccination if old enough, free health exam with your participating veterinarian. We do have an Application & Appointment process to help make sure our pet is a good fit for you and you for our pet. The link below will take you to our Adoption Application. This process works much better for you, for our staff and for our pets as we can focus on you during your appointment.
