25Atticus's Story
**Atticus will not attend our Saturday adoption event, and will be available for private meets only!**

Meet Atticus

Sex: Male

Age: Approx 21 weeks

Weight: Will be approx 15 pounds when full grown!

Crate Trained: Work in progress.

Potty Trained: Work in progress!

Dogs: Yes!

Cats: Would do best with dog savvy cats.

Kids: Would do best in a tiny human free home!

Atticus was born in a Foothill foster home, and as you can tell, he’s rocking some seriously adorable radar ears.

This sweet boy isn’t your typical “go anywhere, love everyone” puppy just yet. Atticus is still building his confidence and figuring out the world around him, so he’ll need a patient, committed family ready to continue giving him positive, safe experiences. With the right support, he’s going to blossom.

He absolutely loves a good rough-and-rowdy play session with his foster dog siblings, followed by a well-earned nap. While he enjoys playing, he also takes a lot of comfort and confidence from other dogs, so a home with a resident mentor dog (or two!) would be ideal. Slow, thoughtful introductions will set him up for success, and experience with shy or underconfident dogs is a huge plus.

Atticus is doing great with potty training, with only minimal accidents. though those April showers did test his commitment a bit! His crate has become his safe space, and continuing that routine will be important as he transitions into his new home.

He loves being outside, playing with all kinds of toys, and, of course, getting into a little bit of puppy mischief whenever he can.

Overall, Atticus is a fun, goofy guy who just needs the right environment to truly thrive, and when he does, he’s going to be something really special

If interested, we recommend submitting an adoption application at: www.foothilldogrescue.org

Our puppy adoption fee is $400 dollars (with $5 processing fee if paid by card). Adoption fee includes neuter, rabies, DAPP and Bordetella vaccines, deworming, microchip, and lifetime registration.
