Broken Arrow Animal Shelter's Adoption Policy

All adoptions from the shelter are on a first come first served basis on the day the animal is available. This means: the first person in our parking lot for a particular animal. Shelter staff may make contact, get your name and phone number, and ask that you return when the shelter opens. If you have not returned to the shelter by the time we open, you forfeit the adoption. If no shelter staff is available to make contact, then you are required to wait in the parking lot until the shelter opens. Waiting in line by our door does not guarantee that you are the first person waiting for an animal. Our standard adoption fee is $63.00. For dogs, this includes spay/neuter, rabies vaccination, heartworm test, and a 5-1 vaccination. For cats, this includes spay/neuter and a rabies vaccination.
