When this foster mama had a space open up, she had no idea how lucky she would be welcoming ?Xander? into her home! He was stuck in 'the pound' for months (yes, months!), and that is very tough for dogs, but this resilient guy came out of that situation sweet and well-mannered, a testament to what a great dog he is! He quickly adapted to his new temporary home, already has a group of friends, is a wonderful car passenger, and politely and quietly hangs out wherever I am (he's curled up under my desk while I type this ?).<br/>Xander appears to be a shepherd/hound mix, around 5-6yo, is a healthy 55lbs, neutered, crate-trained, and with regular trips outside he doesn't have accidents in the house. He likes to take his time roaming through the yard when the weather is nice, so he will need a home with a fenced yard to keep him.
