20-054 Tucker's Story
Tucker is a 6-year-old black and white 65 pound cattle dog mix with the gentlest soul and the sweetest devotion to his people. He has been such a steady companion in his foster home, happily curling up beside you and checking in with a soft “you okay?” expression that melts hearts. Tucker loves lounging on the couch, strolling around the yard, riding along for little adventures, and taking slow, thoughtful walks. He is friendly with people, dogs, and even cats, and his energy level is low to moderate, making him an easy, comforting presence in the home.

Over the summer, Tucker survived being struck by a car after a prior owner let him loose in heavy traffic. He underwent surgical repair for a hind leg fracture and has recovered beautifully. While he will likely never be a distance runner, he much prefers a relaxed pace anyway and is comfortable and happy enjoying life one steady step at a time. Tucker recently celebrated his 6th birthday and is ready for the forever family he deserves, one that will keep him safe and love him for the loyal, resilient boy he is.

To meet Tucker in person visit us at www.dsda.org/adopt and submit our online adoption application.

ADOPTION FEE Covers: Core vaccines plus Lepto and Flu, all boosters, microchip, dewormer until clear fecal test & spay or neuter when completed by a DSDA vet partner plus any necessary medical care.
