#1015-25 (Courage)'s Story
Meet Courage (aka Courage the Cowardly Dog)! 🐾
Courage is a very sweet, spunky little boy who has been with us for about a month now and is truly coming out of his shell. Though he’s shy when first meeting new people, he has never shown any aggression—just a gentle soul who needs a little time to feel safe.

Courage has a wonderfully silly personality and has absolutely shined since leaving a hoarding situation. He can be a bit mischievous and loves to steal things like clothes from the hamper or crayons, then turn it into a fun game of “chase me” to get them back. He also enjoys bringing sticks inside (and trying to eat them), but otherwise he’s happiest curled up near you, sleeping by your side.

He has discovered that he loves playing with other dogs—especially little ones—and does great with both big and small dogs. Courage also gets along well with cats and even rabbits. He does well in a crate or can be trusted out if you have a dog door and keep belongings picked up.

If you’re looking for a gentle, playful, affectionate companion with a touch of goofy charm, Courage might just be the perfect boy for you. 💙
