This is a Chihuahua mix that is black and cream and about one year old. He was picked up as a stray on the north side of the city and will be available for adoption on 3/28/2008. He has a great disposition and we're certain he'll find a great home! <br><br><br/><br/>The adoption fee on a dog over the age of four months is $40.00 (if you live inside the city limits of Springdale, the fee is $45.00, so that we can issue you a city license good for one year). The adoption fee includes a microchip implant, voucher for a Rabies vaccination from a veterinarian, basic shots/deworming (including Bordatella vaccination) and also a $10 off spay/neuter voucher also to be used at a veterinarian's office. If you live inside the city limits of Springdale, you will receive a voucher for a city license to be issued upon proof of Rabies vaccination by a licensed veterinarian.<br><br>If the dog is under four months of age, the fee for adoption is $40.00. Please visit your veterinarian for boosters and any additional de-worming treatment needed. We also recommend taking the dog to a veterinarian for a wellness check-up within 72 hours. Exchanges are only allowed for medical reasons as specified by the veterinarian.<br><br>**Springdale Animal Services would like to remind you that Rabies vaccinations by a licensed veterinarian are required on a yearly basis for all cats and dogs! Proof of Rabies vaccination must be provided before you are issued a city license!**
