Zoey (Shy friend to cats)'s Story

Our rescue is based out of Pikesville, Maryland!

We typically do not adopt more than 45 minutes away from Pikesville, so please bear that in mind! Also, if you are viewing this cat on Petfinder, note that ALL of our animals are spayed/neutered despite what it says.

Zoey is a cute little tuxedo who was born in the Spring of 2025, making him about 8 or 9 months old. He showed up at his foster mom's house and followed his friend Rusty inside. He currently enjoys going in and out of the house, and is very playful as a kitten should be.

Zoey is very scared around new people and in new places, so he needs a very experienced and patient family who is willing to work with him and give him the time he needs to adjust. Fortunately for him, he is a real cutie.

Zoey's foster mom/finder is a wheelchair bound senior citizen, and she worries that Zoey will outlive her. By adopting Zoey, either as a companion animal or as a mouser, you will not only be helping him but setting her mind at ease.

Zoey needs to go to a home with other cats. There is no adoption fee for Zoey due to his excessively shy nature.

Needs Must Cats will have received full vetting including spay or neuter, FIV/FLV testing, microchip, and treatment for parasites by time of adoption. The adoption fee in the amount below helps us assist more cats and kittens in urgent need. These fees do not even begin to cover our expenses so please consider making an additional donate to support our life-saving efforts!

Special Needs or Barn Cat - Donation

Adult Cat / Kitten over 6 months - $90

Kitten under 6 months - $150

Pair of Kittens - $275

Please feel free to contact us by email with any questions, or submit your application here: http://www.needsmust.org/adopt
