Zoey's Story

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.

Meet Zoey, a young cat who is learning what it means to be a cat after spending her kitten years being a mom herself.

Zoey came into her foster home content to watch the world unfold around her for the first few weeks. She loves to find a good vantage point, a high perch on a cat tree is perfect, to watch her playful foster brothers wrestle. However, it’s seems that Zoey has decided that all this playful action might be fun to join in on! She’s slowly starting to get comfortable enough to partake in chasing games with the other cats, but hasn’t quite figured out full play wrestling yet. From her behavior, her foster humans aren’t sure if Zoey has had the chance to learn how to play with other cats before now.

Zoey is cautiously curious about her surroundings. It takes her time to explore new things, and she prefers to have a safe spot to return to. She has a calm presence in the house and demands very little of her humans. Weary of sudden and erratic movements, Zoey will need to go to a home without young children, older and considerate children ok.

Although not shy, she doesn’t seek out humans for attention and is not a lap cat. However, when it comes to feeding time, Zoey is quick to let everyone know she is ready for dinner by rubbing up on her humans and voicing some cute meows.

Are you the right home for this adorable, low maintenance girl?

Zoey is fostered in Roseville.

Interested in adopting?
