Zoe's Story
Meet Zoe, a gentle 4-month-old soul who is looking for a patient heart to call her own. Zoe is the shyest of her litter, but don't let her quiet nature fool you--once she knows you, she is a total lap cat! While she may hide when the doorbell rings or the dog barks, she finds her courage through snuggles. Her absolute favorite thing is being wrapped up like a "purr-ito" in a fuzzy blanket and held; she'll usually be fast asleep in your arms within minutes. Since arriving at the shelter, Zoe has shown a lower-energy, more mellow side. She is a big fan of soft pets and calm affection, though her kitten curiosity still comes out for a fishing pole toy or a fun catnip mouse. Because she is a social girl who finds confidence in others, she would be happiest in a home with another cat. However, she can be your "one and only" if someone is home most of the time. Kittens need that consistent human interaction during this critical stage of life to prevent loneliness and help them bloom into well-adjusted adults. Because Zoe is a sensitive girl who appreciates a peaceful environment, any children in the home should be age 5 or older. She can live with a dog, but it must be a calm, cat-friendly one with a very slow introduction so she doesn't feel overwhelmed. If you're looking for a quiet, cuddly companion to cozy up with on a rainy day, Zoe is waiting to be your best friend! Her adoption fee is $250.

*To visit our cats, you must make an appointment on-line at www.caringforcatsmn.org/adopt.*

Note: While we are happy to respond to your questions about any of our cats, you will still be required to make an on-line appointment at www.caringforcatsmn.org/adopt if you wish to meet our cats.
