Zizi's Story
Zizi is a brown polydactyl tabby with beautiful, expressive golden eyes that seem to change colour in different situations. She carries her tail in a near perfect circle over her back.

She loves cheek rubs and chin scritches, and follows her foster around in search of pets. She is likely to be nervous meeting new people, but once she trusts people, is sweet and affectionate.

We think Zizi was born in 2022, but don’t know much about her early life. She was an outdoor colony kitty when her feeder brought her inside in the fall of 2024, just in time to have her kittens inside. Zizi was an amazing mom, making sure the kittens were well-fed, clean and loved. She always kept a watchful eye on them, and as soon as one cried out when playing too hard, or fell as they explored their new space, Zizi was there in a flash, making sure they were safe and all was well. Now that her kittens found homes of their own, Zizi is looking for her own forever home.

While she is becoming more trusting and loves to be near her people, she will need a patient home to continue her progress. She is a quiet kitty who loves to watch birds and squirrels outside the window and take cozy naps curled up in her cat tree. Zizi is a sweet, sensitive and intelligent cat. She gets along with other cats, though we have not seen her with dogs. After a tough life living outdoors, we hope that Zizi will find a safe, warm and loving home for the rest of her days.

NOTE 1: Spays, neuters, first vaccinations and vet checks are included in the adoption fee.

NOTE 2: Because a young kitten needs feline companionship, it is the policy of Cat Rescue Network that kittens 6 months or younger be adopted out in pairs unless there is another kitten or young cat already in the home.

NOTE 3: Cat Rescue Network only adopts their cats to homes in the National Capital region of Canada
