DOB: 3/16/2020, Date in Rescue: 7/27/25. Everyone say HI to Zippy! Her human passed away and no one in the family could take her in. Luckily, her people knew one of our people, so.... here she is! She is a pretty girl who loves to chat with people! She is very friendly and loving. She has had a rough go of it for a while now, but we are working to get her in tip top condition! If you are looking for a lap kitty, Zippy is yer gal! Holler at Dos Rios Resque if you are interested. Thanks! Zippy tested negative for both feline leukemia and FIV.

Dos Rios Resque's Adoption Policy

All of our cats and kittens are fostered in private residences. Once an applicant is approved to adopt, we can schedule a meet & greet. Applicants must be of age to sign a legal contract. A home visit may be required as part of the application process.

We provide a safe and comfortable place for animals in transition to decompress and recuperate if necessary before going on to their furever home. We are registered as a 501(c)(3) organization with the IRS and as a Charitable Organization with the State of Tennessee, CO41159.
