Ziggy's Story
Meet Ziggy – A Big Sweetheart Ready for His Forever Home

Ziggy came to me through a TNR after a neighbor reported a “friendly feral” joining her colony. The moment I opened his carrier, it was immediately clear he was anything but feral — Ziggy leaned in for head bumps and started purring at full volume. He is pure affection.

Ziggy loves people — sometimes a little too much. When he gets excited by human attention, he may give gentle love bites and occasionally wrap around ankles in playful excitement. This appears to be overstimulation rather than aggression, and he will do best with someone cat-savvy who understands feline body language and can help him channel that enthusiasm appropriately.

Ziggy is not feral and should not be living outside. He’s a classic Velcro cat who wants companionship, interaction, and a safe place to belong.

Ziggy is looking for an experienced cat adopter who understands feline overstimulation. He is not aggressive, but he can become overly excited and may give love bites when overstimulated. For this reason, he would not be a good fit for a first-time cat guardian or for a household with young children or elderly individuals.

With the right, cat-savvy person who can read his cues and respect his boundaries, Ziggy can truly thrive.
If you’re looking for a big, affectionate boy with a huge heart and don’t mind helping him learn calmer ways to show his love, Ziggy could be a wonderful match.

If you’re interested in meeting Ziggy or another cat/kitten, please fill out this questionnaire to schedule an in-person meeting in North Hollywood.

https://sibamedia.wixsite.com/lpotv/cat-questionnaire
