ziggy's Story

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.
Online Adoption Application ›

Ziggy was found on the streets unable to put any weight on his right back leg. Silicon Valley animal shelter took him in, but needed a rescue to pull him so he could get 4 weeks of cage rest to let the fracture heal on its own. He has been a wonderful patient. He tolerated the cage rest well and is now able to walk about his room without a limp at all. He has not jumped yet- but his leg is getting stronger every day. He is a lap cat when you set him on you- content to just hang out with you. He is playful and loves to carry around little stuffed animals!from his foster family--
Ziggy is shy, but so so sweet. He warms slowly, but once he does, he loves to be pet and played with! (you can tell because he starts rumbling like a motorcycle). Ziggy loves batting at his toy mouse on a string, and sprawling out on blankets. He’s incredibly easy to handle when picked up, and is so so so soft when you do, you’ll never want to put him down!

We found that Ziggy tends to not come out on his own, and needs to be greeted before he comes out for the day. He becomes more active when played with and socialized with.

To Adopt one of our Cats or Kittens,
please fill out an Online Adoption Application on our website

https://www.13thstcats.org/info/adoption

If the animal bio says that they are a "Courtesy Listing",
the contact information will be included in the animal bio for you to reach out to them directly.

Thank you for wanting to Adopt!

--------------

13thstcats.org is a 501(c)(3) Non-Profit, No-Kill Rescue Group based in San Jose.

We try our best to match our cats to the perfect homes, and match them based on their personalities, not their looks.
