Ziggy's Story

Reintroducing our resident wild child... Ziggy

Does your cat need a cat? Or are you a homebody looking for a little sidekick to keep life entertaining? Meet Ziggy!

Previously known as Rami, we’ve decided this silly boy needed a name that better fits the personality he’s been showing us. The more comfortable he’s gotten, the more playful, curious, and slightly wild little personality has come out. We realized he’s much more of a Ziggy than a Rami.

At 2 years old, this baby boy is a curious explorer who loves zooming around the house, investigating everything, and keeping tabs on whatever his humans are doing. He also loves head scratches, being brushed, and getting attention from his people.

We believe he will do great with a playful younger cat or kitten who needs a buddy to run, wrestle, and get into a little harmless mischief with. He can be a little unsure when things are new, but once he feels safe, you’ll quickly discover the affectionate, goofy wild child underneath.

Ziggy is fully vetted and ready for his forever indoor only home.

Anna Rescues Kittens's Adoption Policy
At Anna Rescues Kittens, every life matters. We are a small but dedicated 501(c)(3) nonprofit rescue focused on saving, rehabilitating, and rehoming cats and kittens in need. Our adoption process is thorough and designed to ensure each cat is placed in a safe, loving, and lifelong home. Our adoption process includes: • Veterinary reference checks • Personal referral checks • Phone interview • Home visit • Adoption questionnaire • Finalized adoption paperwork This detailed process helps us match each cat with the right family and ensure they will be loved and cared for for the rest of their lives. Adoption Fee: $180 This fee is well below the average cost of veterinary care for the services we provide each baby. It also helps cover the extensive veterinary care each kitten receives before going home. Every kitten is fully vetted by a licensed veterinarian at a trusted local animal hospital and receives: • Spay or neuter surgery • Microchip for permanent identification • Rabies vaccine • FDRC vaccine • FeLV/FIV testing • Deworming • Fecal testing • Nail trim • Complete veterinary exam Our adopters also become part of the A.R.K. family — we offer lifetime support, advice, and guidance whenever needed. When you adopt from us, you’re not just getting a new family member — you’re helping us save more lives.
