Zeus was born with microphthalmia, a congenital condition that caused his eyes to develop smaller than normal and may affect his vision, but he currently requires no special daily treatment. Give him a little patience and time to feel comfortable, and Zeus is ready to show you just how lovable he can be!

St. Lawrence Valley SPCA's Adoption Policy

A potential adopter is required to fill out an adoption questionnaire. If under 18 they must provide written permission of a parent or guardian to adopt. If they rent, their landlord must provide written permission for them to house the pet at the rented home. They're asked to provide the names and ages of all those residing in the home, even those who do not live there fill time. They're asked how many other animals they may have and the species. They must agree to allow a representative of the St. Lawrence Valley SPCA to visit their home if there is reason to suspect the animal is not being cared for properly. They are then interviewed by the Shelter Manager.
