Zeus's Story

My name is Zeus and I am a ~2 year old fixed male! I have lived exclusively indoors almost my whole life, but I would most likely do best as an indoor/outdoor cat. I will need proper time to adjust in a new home before experiencing the great outdoors. In the shelter, I've been pretty reserved and shy with most people. Only recently did I start to come out of my shell after weeks of trepidation. I'm a really sweet guy and I love treats, catnip, toys on strings, and head scratches! I have won the hearts of several staff members with my silly personality (and facial expressions). I would love a quieter, calmer home to call my own. When it gets loud or crowded near me I want to find a place to hide, and when it chills out I'm ready to explore and play and climb into your lap for attention! I have lived with other cats before, but I would prefer being the only cat in a home. I have shown in the past that I am nervous around children, and I would probably do best with older kids or just adults. I may not show it on the surface, but I have a lot of love to give and I can't wait to find my forever home. I would love a chance to show you how sweet I am!

I'm fixed, vaccinated, microchipped and up to date on parasite preventatives. I'm $95 to bring home!

If you are interested, please call the shelter at (541) 474-5458. You can view more adoptable pets at www.jocoshelter.com/adoptions . Walk-ins are welcome, however we highly recommend calling first to check on availability and location (some animals may be offsite or unavailable). Appointments are recommended to reduce wait times, especially for dogs. Thank you!
