Understand that this is an adoption of a beautiful little soul that deserves the absolute best life. <br/><br/><br/>The average lifespan of a cat is 13 to 20 years. Some cats even live into their thirties, although this is far less common. So don't let that discourage you from adopting an adult cat! Rescue Mama has had 3 live into their 20's. One was 8 weeks old.<br/><br/>ZEPHYR and his sisters (ATALANA, CIRCE, and DESPONIA) and his mama EUROPA were saved in San Jacinto, California. The wonderful couple saved them from the very cruel neighbors. So they called us. They are currently fostering them. And we are so glad they did.<br/><br/><br/>Meet ZEPHYR, a charming tuxedo kitty from San Jacinto, California, whose signature cue mustache and striking golden eyes make him look like the most dapper feline on the block. This young gentleman is a delightful mix of playful mischief and poised sophistication—a true character ready to bring smiles to your days.<br/><br/><br/>ZEPHYR has a soft spot for snacks and considers any ball or box his ultimate treasure. Whether he's chasing a bouncing ball across the floor or dramatically jumping into a box with a sense of victory, his antics are sure to brighten your home. When it’s time to relax, you’ll find him perched at the very top of his cat tree, gazing down at the world with an air of regal confidence, as though he’s the CEO of all he surveys.<br/><br/><br/>Though he’s full of youthful energy, ZEPHYR’s playfulness is matched by his gentle nature. He doesn’t have an aggressive bone in his body and prefers to keep things lighthearted. Of course, like any self-respecting cat, he occasionally succumbs to a classic case of the zoomies, darting through the house like a furry whirlwind of joy. He is about 1 year 4 months old and is good with cats and has lived and played with a dog. Fill Out Online Form<br/>3. Submit Online Application<br/>4. Someone Will Call / Text to Do Phone Interview (within a week)<br/>5. Will be notified of Approved Application<br/>6. Home Visit (WILL BE SCHEDULED)<br/>7. Official Meet and Greet with Kitty<br/>8. Sign Adoption Contract - AME <br/>9. Pay Adoption Fee (VENMO - ZELLE - PAYPAL or CASH)<br/>10. Take the Kitty Home<br/><br/><br/>********* MAY CONSIDER OUT OF STATE ADOPTIONS NEAR CALIFORNIA BUT BE AWARE THAT WE WILL NOT SHIP. ADOPTER WILL NEED TO PICK UP**********<br/><br/><br/>VOLUNTEERS are the only ones allowed to let you meet the kitty. Not PETSMART employees. <br/><br/><br/>Volunteers are usually at PetSmart between 9 am to 1 pm for cleaning ONLY. The cats currently at PETSMART you are allowed to go visit. A good time to come visit is between 5 pm - 8 pm (Monday thru Saturday) and Sunday 3 pm - 6 pm. The VOLUNTEERS are only there in the evening for 3 hours so please call the PetSmart location, email us or visit the cattery for VISITING HOURS. Most days are different 3-hour shifts. It's based on volunteer availability and store hours. Store hours change with holidays.<br/><br/><br/>******************* If you call the PETSMART location, please ask them to physically check the cattery door for the current week's VISITING HOURS. ******************<br/><br/><br/>The cats/kittens at a foster/rescue home, we will accommodate as much as possible. But steps 1-6 of the ADOPTION PROCESS need to be done before we do the OFFICIAL MEET & GREETS. It is easier to do the meet and greets at the locations listed below: <br/><br/><br/>****Please note we only have cats physically in MURRIETA, INDUSTY and WEST COVINA ONLY. But we can do meet and greets at all 5 locations below locations.****<br/><br/><br/>PETSMART - 17651 Colima Rd, City Of Industry, California 91748<br/><br/>PETSMART - 2153 W Florida Ave, Hemet, California 92545<br/><br/>PETSMART - 25290 Madison Ave, Murrieta, California 92562<br/><br/>PETSMART - 34900 Monterey Ave, Palm Desert, California 92211<br/><br/>PETSMART - 2851 Eastland Center Dr, West Covina, CA 91791<br/><br/><br/>The crazy rescue mama will drive kitties to their new home, meet & greets, etc...once the phone interview and home check have been done. Gas donations always appreciated!<br/><br/><br/>************* Please no calls to the rescue. No one is available to take calls. ************<br/><br/><br/>If the CAT/KITTEN is still listed (meaning here or other websites) they are still available. It does not mean they don't have other pending applications or meet and greets.<br/><br/><br/>Please note: Just because you fill out an application and are approved does not obligate you to adopt the cat/kitten. If he or she is not a fit...we have plenty of other cats / kittens available for adoption.<br/><br/><br/>We are a SMALL rescue based out of Hemet, California. We are all volunteers that run the rescue.
