Zephyr's Story

Zephyr grew up wild in a community garden at the end of our street. When he and his sisters were finally trapped and brought inside, they were still quite fearful—even though they had been fed and cared for by humans their whole lives.

It’s taken Zephyr a long period of adjustment to get used to apartment living. But as he relaxed and started to trust his foster, an incredibly sweet, shy personality emerged. Zephyr loves cuddles and will come up to you on the couch and curl up in the curve of your arm or rest his head in your lap and look at you adoringly while you pet him. He loves to play and wrestle and roughhouse—he would make a fantastic companion for a young and energetic cat. His favorite things are Temptations and gentle ear scritches.

Zephyr is still shy and a bit skittish, especially if you catch him unawares. He may need some extra time, love and patience to truly come out of his shell—but when he does, the rewards will be worth it.
