Zelda (Courtesy Post)'s Story

Zelda is a beautiful 2-year-old Korat with a sweet, affectionate personality. She loves attention and cuddling and would much rather spend time snuggled up in bed with her people than exploring outdoors.

Zelda is a smart girl who enjoys showing off her tricks, including rolling over and jumping impressively high! She communicates her boundaries with gentle cues, making her a great match for adopters who understand cat body language. She would do best in a home with children ages 5 and up.

Zelda has lived with a Chihuahua her whole life and may do well with a calm, respectful dog after a proper introduction. If you're looking for a loving companion with a clever, playful side, Zelda would love to meet you.

Zelda is being cared for by a member of the community. ADOPT A DANCING CAT Thank you for your interest in adopting from The Dancing Cat! Once you fill out our application on our website, our adoption coordinator will be in contact with you as soon as possible. Adopting a cat is an important responsibility. Submission of this application does not automatically grant an adoption. All adoption applications are reviewed and each applicant is contacted to determine the best fit possible for you and the cat you are interested in. If you are approved for adoption, you will be asked to sign an adoption agreement via email. CAT MEDICAL HISTORY AND HEALTH All of our rescued cats have an initial health check when they are at the shelter. Our goal is to understand the health of each of our cats and provide that information to any potential adopter. However, we cannot guarantee the health of the cat. Therefore we recommend that you take your newly adopted cat to a licensed veterinarian as soon as possible after your adoption. Any known health issues will be disclosed at the time you meet the cat.
