Zelda's Story
Zelda is a beautiful young girl born just before the 4th of July 2025 - which might explain her colorful fur. She enjoys kitty (and human) companions so she would prefer a home either with one of her siblings (Miette and Binx) or another friendly cat, and without small children or dogs.

Zelda spent her early kitten days safe and secure under a shed. She has traded the shed for warm blankets and a bed indoors but still likes to seek out enclosed spaces People who come visit you will never know you have a kitty as Zelda will hide from strangers. She has trouble resisting the lure of a Churu treat or a dangle toy though so if your guests are lucky, they might get a glimpse of this wonderful girl.

Zelda would like a quiet home with another cat to play with and trail after (she loves copying her siblings). She will be shy at first, but give her time and a good supply of treats and fuzzy blankets to nap on, and she will reward you with cuddle time - butt scritches preferred.

To adopt you must first complete an adoption application and meet the cat in its foster home. We do not do same day adoptions so, generally, we can only adopt within the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area.
