Zelda's Story

Zelda is such a sweetheart - she's friendly, gentle, and so loving! Her favorite activities are cuddling, sleeping in bed with her fosters, and kneading biscuits when she's savoring a relaxing moment. She loves belly rubs and being held and cradled like a baby! Her fur is super soft, and once you start brushing her she'll be totally blissed out. Zelda is confidently independent when left alone, and will also seek out cuddles and attention when she's in the mood. Sometimes, she'll even come over to give people kisses! Her fosters rave that she might actually be the perfect cat.

Zelda's also got a playful side, and will strike up a conversation with you when she's in the mood to play! She's curious and intelligent as well, and quick to warm up to new people and places. As a laid-back and sweet cat, she'd be great for first time cat people or families with older (10+) children.

Zelda is spayed, microchipped, vaccinated, negative for FIV and FeLV, and $50 to adopt.

Cat Town is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, formed by long term volunteers from Oakland Animal Services (OAS) and other Bay Area shelters. We have partnered with OAS to take the cats who are least likely to do well in a shelter setting.
