Zara's Story

Zara is a confident, independent queen who fully expects to rule her home, and honestly, she deserves it. She loves high perches, cozy cubby hideouts, and window views where she can keep watch over her kingdom like the regal overseer she is. She’s a mix of talkative and aloof, popping in for attention when she chooses and disappearing for royal naps when she doesn’t.

She enjoys sleeping on the bed and may curl up beside you once she decides you’ve earned the honor. Treats, canned food, and broth packets are the fastest way to win her loyalty, and she prefers a simple routine with free-fed dry food and evening wet meals. She’s okay being picked up briefly but prefers all interactions on her terms.

Zara must be the only pet in the home. She is not a fan of other cats and will actively go after ones she dislikes, so she needs a peaceful, pet-free kingdom where she can reign without conflict. No dogs or small animals, either. She does well with older, respectful kids (8+).

If you’re looking for a bold, affectionate-on-her-terms companion who will share your space, your bed, and your snacks, Zara may be your perfect match.

NOTE: If you don’t like lap cats, talkative kitties in your face, or a cat who sleeps in your bed, she is NOT the best fit. Being a right-beside-you type of kitty is part of her awesome personality. If you plan on getting a second cat/kitten, she is NOT the right fit for you. She will escape and never come back.

She is spayed, tested, vaccinated, and microchipped. My estimated birthdate is 3/1/2019, and my adoption fee is $140.
