Zanna's Story

Meet Zanna - A Beautiful Torti with Sass and a Softer Side

Zanna is a striking grey tortoiseshell with a silky coat and mesmerizing green eyes. She recently moved from the Cat Cafe into a foster home to enjoy more one-on-one attention, and that quieter environment has made a big difference in helping her settle and show her true personality.

Zanna is a typical tortie with that signature sass, but she's also made wonderful progress. Once easily overstimulated in busy environments, she's now learning to relax and trust-and she loves letting her foster hold her, which is a big milestone for this girl. Given time and space to adjust, she's proven she can be both confident and affectionate.

She does best when allowed to set the pace. Zanna is independent and prefers affection on her terms, but when she's comfortable, she enjoys being held, chatting with her people, and soaking up sunshine from a favorite window perch. Introducing new toys and experiences slowly helps prevent overstimulation and allows her to stay relaxed and happy.

Because she can still become overstimulated at times, Zanna may occasionally give brief play bites or latch when she's had enough interaction. For this reason, she's best suited for a cat-savvy, adults-only home where her boundaries are respected. She would thrive as the only pet in a calm household.

Zanna isn't a "cuddle-on-demand" cat-but for someone who appreciates tortie personalities and enjoys watching trust grow, she can be an incredibly rewarding companion.

Give Zanna patience, a quiet space, a sunny window, and just a few carefully chosen toys, and she'll reward you with her beauty, confidence, and affection-served with classic tortie flair.

Zanna is also eligible for our Foster-to-Adopt program, allowing you to welcome her into your home and get to know her before making things official. It's a wonderful way to ensure the perfect match for both of you!

-----------------------------------------

If you're interested in adopting, please apply online at mscrescue.org/adopt. An approved application is required before we can schedule a meet & greet. Once approved, we'll work with you to ensure it's a great fit-and if it's not, no worries! We'll help you find the perfect match.

All of our cats are adoption-ready and come:

Spayed or neutered
FELV/FIV tested
Dewormed
Up-to-date on age-appropriate vaccines
Microchipped
