Zane's Story

Zane came to us from our rescue besties at "Saving Them All" after they did just that, saving him from being euthanized. Why? Because he has a very treatable condition, 'pillow foot', requiring him to have a few weeks of minimal, at home, medical treatment (an antibiotic and pain med). But some people think such minor inconveniences are appropriately handled by killing them? Anyway, this guy literally jumps in to your arms and wants to be loved. Very mindful, very demure. <br/><br/>He is also FIV positive which, as mentioned above, is not a big deal. <br/><br/>Update: Zane went to a great home and stalked their cat around the house trying to "headbutt it". If we could insert an exasperated emoji, we would. So, Zane would prefer a home where he can be an only child. We don't lnow about dogs but probably not. Defo not cats tho.

Our goal is to ensure every animal is placed in a safe, stable, loving, and lifelong home. We encourage people who are interested in adopting to participate in our3 week "Foster to Adopt" period. This allows both the human and the animal to see if they are going to be a great and loving long term match. We want to remove the pressure some people face to keep an animal out of obligation, instead of being a great match. If it's not working out, no worries. We are happy to have them come back to us and hope the foster parents will help us advocate and find their perfect match.
