Zan loves stretching out across your lap and keeping you warm on those cold nights. <br/><br/>Zan recently had a diagnosis of diabetes, but we're happy to report that he responded very quickly to a proper low-carbohydrate, high-protein diet and is now in remission! While cats who have gone into diabetic remission can sometimes become diabetic again, Zan's adopter can help reduce that risk by keeping him on his recommended diet and watching for signs such as increased drinking or urination. With the right care and a little attention, we're hopeful Zan can continue enjoying a happy, healthy life.<br/><br/>He is great with other cats and is adjusting quickly to life with dogs, making him a wonderful addition to a variety of homes.<br/><br/>At 10 years old, Zan is a mature gentleman with plenty of love, cuddles and happy years ahead of him.
