Zambezi's Story

Meet Zambezi ("Zammy")

Color: All black
Personality: Vocal, curious, quietly confident

Zambezi-affectionately known as Zammy-is an all-black beauty who has made remarkable progress. Once very feral, Zammy and his brother Thames have slowly learned that people can be trusted, thanks to patience, routine, and gentle care. Of the two brothers, Zammy is the more confident and social one and often leads by example.

Zammy is very vocal, especially when meals are being prepared or treats are nearby-he's not shy about making his presence known. He's also a wonderful housemate: respectful of his surroundings, not destructive (with the notable exception of paper), and content to coexist peacefully while continuing to build confidence.

Zammy shares a close bond with his brother, Thames. While they are not required to be adopted together, Zammy does very well with him, and the two would truly thrive if they were able to stay in the same home.

Zammy will do best in a calm, patient home with adopters who understand that trust is earned over time-and deeply rewarding.

-----------------------------------------

If you're interested in adopting, please apply online at mscrescue.org/adopt.
