Z.Z. Ziff's Story

***If you can see me, I am still available! We prefer everything regarding adoption be done via email, this way we can answer any time or day! We like to have an application submitted before scheduling a visit but it's not required, an email conversation is great! If you don’t have access to email, no worries, please call 401 680 7591. We differ from other shelters by offering a one-on-one experience between you, our staff and the animal or animals you've chosen to become a new family member! Please email adoptions@friendsofpaccc.org*****

Meet Z.Z. – The Biscuit-Making Queen! ?

Hey there, I'm Z.Z.! I was found living outside in Providence — imagine that! Thankfully, a kind woman spotted me and brought me to Providence Animal Control (PAC), and it turned out to be just in time.

See, I was hiding a lot of pain. I hadn’t been spayed, and because of that, I was suffering from pyometra (a dangerous uterine infection), a failed pregnancy, and a cyst. Yikes! All of this was discovered during my emergency spay — and thank goodness it was caught when it was.

But don’t worry, I’m feeling SO much better now! You can even see it in my face — I’ve been making biscuits non-stop this morning to show how happy I am! ? Something as simple as a spay just a year ago could’ve saved me from all that suffering. But I’m not looking back — I’m all about the glow up now!

I’m only about 2 years old, and I LOVE attention, people, and snuggles. I do need to be the only cat and I don't dogs (sorry not sorry). If you're looking for a sweet companion with a resilient spirit and a soft purr, I might be your girl.

Do you have room in your heart (and lap) for me? ?
