Yuuki's Story
Meet Yuuki!
Yuuki is a senior lady who came to us after a heartbreaking series of events - her owner passed away, and the remaining family member was moved into assisted living. Yuuki was living in a home affected by severe hoarding conditions, which meant years of instability, clutter, and inconsistent access to basic resources. Despite this, Yuuki has shown herself to be a social, affectionate cat who clearly enjoys human attention and connection.

My Ideal Home
Yuuki would thrive in a calm, patient home with adopters who understand that senior cats - especially those coming from chaotic environments - need time to decompress and re-learn routine. A predictable schedule, quiet spaces, and clear boundaries around handling will help her feel secure. She enjoys attention on her terms and does best when allowed to approach rather than being picked up. She does enjoy a particular wand toy attachment, and seems to forget her age when she's chasing it.

Good with Kids?
Yuuki is recommended for a home without young children. She can become uncomfortable when handled too much and needs people who can read and respect her signals.

Good with Other Pets?
Yuuki previously lived with other cats and may be able to live with a calm, respectful feline companion. Slow introductions are recommended. She has no known experience living with dogs.

Overall Health
Yuuki is a senior cat with some medical needs typical of her age and background. She has significant dental disease and missing teeth, and our veterinary team recommends a dental procedure in the future. Bloodwork showed some mild abnormalities consistent with allergies, parasites, or age-related changes, and she has been treated for fleas and parasites. Staff will review her medical needs and next steps with potential adopters so everyone is set up for success.

Behavior Determination
Level 2 - Yuuki is generally social and affectionate but can become overstimulated, especially when picked up. She benefits from experienced adopters who are comfortable managing boundaries and helping her adjust to a new environment at her own pace.

Other Fun Facts
Yuuki loves attention and will happily lean in for pets, head-butts for affection, and soak up the sun by the window. She's known to be chatty, enjoys kneading biscuits, and has a big personality packed into a petite senior frame. With patience and understanding, Yuuki has so much love left to give in a safe, stable forever home.
Primary Color: Tabby Secondary Color: White Weight: 7.3125lbs Age: 12yrs 9mths 3wks Animal has been Spayed
